Service Description
Brow lamination is a two-step eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting thBrow lamination is a two-step eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. In the first step, a cream is applied that breaks down bonds in the eyebrow hairs so they can be manipulated into a new position. In the second step, another cream is applied to rebuild these bonds and set the brows in their new uniform position. If you have unruly, flat or downward growing hairs, eyebrow lamination can change the direction of growth to create a more uniform look with a higher arch and a more desirable brow shape. Brow lamination lasts 4 to 6 weeks generally, with proper care allowing the brow treatment to last as long as 8 weeks. In the first 24-48 hours, as part of your HD Brows aftercare, we recommend: • Avoiding excessive rubbing or touching of the treated area for 24 hour • Avoiding contact with direct sunlight, and the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for 48 hours after your treatment In the days leading up to and following your HD Brows treatment, we also recommend: • Avoiding exfoliating (both acid exfoliators and scrubs) and anti-ageing products around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment • Avoiding fake tanning products on the face for three days either side of your treatment After these time frames, feel free to carry on as normal. The Hybrid Dye leaves a stain on the skin for up to ten days and on the brow hairs for up to six weeks. The Stain Hybrid Dye can feel darker on the first day, however, please note this is an important step of the process as the Stain continues to oxidize on the skin and settle into its finished shade. The Stain will start to fade gradually as soon as the brows are wet. AFTERCARE ADVICE · Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area for the following 24 hours. · Avoid prolonged exposure to any direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours. · Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area for at least two to three days prior to and post-treatment. · Avoid using any self-tanning products on the face for around two to three days on either side of the treatment. · Avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching the brows can lead to oils entering open pores and clogging them.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or missed appointment policies • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking for full microblading sessions. • A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for all other treatments, including touch-ups. • Missed appointments and appointments rescheduled without a 48-hour notice will forfeit the deposit. The deposit may be carried over to 1 future appointment or other client. • No call, no shows will be charged the full treatment amount. • If you no show, and plan to book again a $30 Inconvenience Fee will apply. If you no show a 2nd time, we cut ties. • Rescheduling more than 2x will forfeit deposit. • If you are late, your appointment will not be extended in order to avoid interfering with the next client’s appointment. • If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule.
